The Magnalure story began nearly a decade ago, born from a simple need: efficiency. Kerry Shaver, our Founder and CEO, spent his days on the water realizing that traditional gear management was flawed. Tools were frequently dropped, misplaced, or out of reach when they were needed most. Kerry envisioned a solution that used ultra-high-strength magnets to create a "third hand" for anglers. He didn't just design it—he built the first Magnalure Wrap by hand. For eight years, that prototype was his constant companion. It wasn't just a product; it was a tool he perfected through nearly 3,000 days of real-world use.

FROM PERSONAL TOOL TO GLOBAL BRAND
In 2020, Kerry decided that his “secret weapon” was too good to keep to himself. He embarked on a mission to turn his invention into a professional-grade brand. By 2022, Magnaure hit the road, attending fishing expos and test markets. The feedback was unanimous: the fishing world had been waiting for it.
The momentum shifted from a “fishing tool” to a “universal solution” in April 2023. A viral TikTok by customer Jordan Vitolo showed the Magnalure clip effortlessly holding heavy tools against a work truck. This moment proved that Magnalure's utility extended far beyond the shoreline—it belonged in the workshop, on the construction site, and in the garage.
